Questions about FAQ 202 Plus
FAQ™ Swiss recommends using the mask for 5–15 minutes, 3–5 times per week.
Up to 15 minutes. FAQ™ Swiss recommends not using FAQ™ 202 plus for more than 15 minutes at a time, and the mask turns off automatically after 15 minutes.
Yes, after a one-time setup. Before its first use, the mask must be unlocked and registered through the FAQ™ Swiss app. After that, you can use it manually and switch LED colours with the power button. The app adds pre-programmed treatments, remote control and saved settings.
In the FAQ™ Swiss app you can choose the LED colour and switch near-infrared on or off, select Low, Medium or High intensity, and set the auto-off time. The mask remembers these settings for offline use.
FAQ™ Swiss recommends its Red Light Peptide Serum, sold separately, but you can use your own skincare instead — as long as it contains no silicones, acids or photosensitive ingredients such as vitamin A, retinol/retinoids, AHAs, benzoyl peroxide or vitamin C.
After each use, spray the mask with FAQ™ Silicone Cleaning Spray, then wipe off any remaining residue with a lint-free cloth or towel dampened with warm water. The mask is not 100% waterproof, so don't wash it under running water, and never use cleaning products containing alcohol, petrol or acetone.
A full charge gives up to 90 minutes of use. Recharge with the included USB charging cable for up to 2 hours; the mask flashes red 3 times when the battery is low. Don't use the mask while it is charging.
Occeva doesn't describe FAQ™ 202 plus as FDA cleared. FDA device listings file it under the 510(k) for FAQ™ 201 and FAQ™ 202, but that clearance letter doesn't name FAQ™ 202 plus, and written confirmation from FAQ™ Swiss is still pending.
FAQ™ Swiss provides a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase, covering defects due to faulty workmanship or materials arising from normal use. It doesn't cover cosmetic wear and tear, or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect, and opening or taking apart the device voids it. Warranty claims are made by logging in to your account at faqswiss.com.
