Questions about FAQ 102

How often should FAQ™ 102 be used?

In Basic mode, FAQ™ Swiss recommends 2–3 times per week for the first 8 weeks, then 2–4 times per month to maintain. In Pro mode, no more than once a week for the first 8 weeks, then 1–2 times per month.

How long is a treatment?

No more than 1 minute per area with EMS and no more than 1 minute with RF, and no more than 10 minutes for the whole face and neck. The device turns off automatically after 10 minutes.

Do I need FAQ™ P1 primer?

Yes. FAQ™ Swiss says P1 is essential: it creates the conductive layer EMS and RF need and helps the device glide. A 2 ml sample is included; full-size P1 is sold separately. FAQ™ Swiss doesn't recommend using other cosmetics with the device.

What are Basic and Pro modes?

The device arrives in Basic mode, with the 5 lowest EMS and RF intensity levels. Pro mode unlocks the 5 higher levels after you complete the professional training in the FAQ™ Swiss app. FAQ™ Swiss recommends starting at Basic level 1.

Can it be used without the app?

Yes, once it has been unlocked and registered in the FAQ™ Swiss app. Without completing the in-app training, only Basic mode is available.

Where shouldn't it be used?

Not on the thyroid area, the eyeball or within the orbital bone, or on the chest, the mid-line of the neck, moles or broken skin. FAQ™ Swiss also advises against use with implanted electronic devices, epilepsy or after facial cosmetic surgery, and says to consult a physician if you are pregnant.

How long does the battery last?

A 2-hour USB charge gives up to 30 minutes of use. Don't use the device while it is charging or plugged in.

How is FAQ™ 102 cleaned?

Switch it off, wash it with soap and warm water, rinse, and pat dry with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Never use cleaning products containing alcohol, petrol or acetone.

What does the manufacturer warranty cover?

FAQ™ Swiss provides a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase, covering defects due to faulty workmanship or materials arising from normal use. It doesn't cover cosmetic wear and tear, or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect, and opening or taking apart the device voids it. Warranty claims are made by logging in to your account at faqswiss.com.
